Since 2007 courses (1 to 3 hours) given in different schools in France (Arts et Metiers, HEC, Sorbonne,…) on Sustainable development, CSR and societal approach of O&G companies.
And also internal training at Total on Societal engineering (two hours courses to one day including exercises).
Since 2013 conferences given on access to energy in France and in different countries (SE4ALL, …)
Activities
Corporate Social Responsibility – Societal approach : engagement with stakeholders and more precisely with local communities, managing and reducing social impacts of O&G activities, contribution to social and economic development for our stakeholders (Local content, Local development projects, social-business projects), creating value outside business activities – Access to energy.
The last ten years I used to work with sustainable development/CSR/Societal activities within Total
From 2007 to 2013 I was VP HSE for Total Exploration & Production coordinating Sustainable development activities.
Since 2013 I am working in the Corporate Holding as VP Social Business & Societal and more recently as VP Operations & Expertises in the Civil Society Engagement Direction (in charge of the Total Foundation societal programs).
Member of the Advisory Board HSE-Social Responsibility of the Society of Petroleum Engineers; in charge of introducing Social responsibility matters for the first time in 2008 at the SPE HSE-SR congress (as chairman of SR sessions in 2008 and 2010).
