35 years of career in Exploration from ELF AQUITAINE (1987) to TOTALENERGIES (2022). Seismic interpretation geophysicist at the beginning, I acquired a solid experience in geosciences, and in particular the prospect generation and evaluation that I have put into practice on all continents (Africa, Americas, North Sea, Asia, Middle East) over my different positions and assignments. I have also been part of the QCM group in charge of ensuring the quality of the prospect assessments presented to Explo management and of teaching the methodology in the various Exploration hubs.
Baccalauréat section scientifique (mention « Bien ») en 1982
–Graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie de Nancy” (ENSG) 1982-1985
–Graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Pétroles et Moteurs” (ENSPM), – Option Géophysique
1985-1986
I have given courses in this field (Exploration Geophysics) on several occasions, in particular during my position at QCM (Quality Consistency Methods) between 2016 and 2018. All along my career, I have participated to the mentoring program with junior geoscientists teaching and coaching them in their first steps of the 2G seismic interpretation workflow. I have also given few technical presentations in AEEG and SEG Convention and Workshops
Geophysicist by background, I spent my 35 years of career within the company / Group ‘ELF AQUITAINE then TOTAL and today TOTALENERGIES) in Exploration, acquiring over my various positions at the headquarters (Paris, Pau) and in subsidiaries (Angola, USA, Thailand, Scotland) a solid experience in 2G (geology-geophysics) seismic interpretation, generation and evaluation of prospects. I am currently finishing my career as an explorer in the farmout-divestment team where I present to our future partners the Explo blocks on which we seek to reduce our participation. I am very motivated by the perspective of giving this course to future geoscientists
