Mainly focus on the various materials technology and knowledge which are related to new electroinc component development.

2. Environmentally friendly technology, The University of Tokyo Wuxi Office, 2005-2007, Wuxi

Mainly focus on the design and process of environmentally materials like lead free solder; RoHS and WEEE policy study; high precise testing method; untilization of environemntally friendly materials; global cooperation on recycle, reduction and reuse.

Activities

Zhonghua XU received Ph.D degree in Tsinghua University of China, January of 2001. His PhD work covers low temperature ceramic material & component process, surface science and technology. In 2001, he joined The University of Tokyo, where he worked to develop high-density interconnection technology for next generation microelectronic system. He supported or managed a series of global cooperation projects on energy, environmental science, materials, etc. He founded Wuxi International Eco-Desgin and Microelectronic Packaging Institute in 2003, and the University of Tokyo Wuxi office in 2005, then he devoted to international industry-government-academic collaboration in the field of science and technology. Dr. XU organized more than 10 international conferences and published around 50 scientific papers and speeches. From May of 2008, he joined Total, as Chief Science Representative in China, to be responsible for energy and chemical research projects in China, especially subjects on new energy and innovative technologies or ideas for energy and chemical activity.
