Experiences

38 years of experience as Petroleum Geologist in head office and overseas subsidiaries with Total. Various posting with operational and basin synthesis functions in different subsidiaries: Algeria (1983-85), Indonesia (1987-1990), UK-Aberdeen (1990-1993), acting as Exploration Manager in Angola (1993-1997), Bolivia (2001-2005), Algeria (2011-2012). In the headquarters in charge of different areas for new ventures projects: deep offshore West Africa (1997-2001), New Projects in Continental Europe and Asia region: Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia… Black sea and Central Europe (2005 to 2011).

From 2012 to 2015, Senior Geosciences Advisor of Exploration & Production VP for Asia Pacific region.

From 2015 to 2019, member of the Quality consistency group (assurance group) reviewing technical evaluation and consistency of all exploration projects(worldwide) which will require financial investments (wells, rounds, new permits….)
