The various positions exercised during my career have often led me to present and teach various subjects (Purchasing, internal control, governance, IT tools) as well as organize and conduct seminars and conferences.
Activities
The versatility of my basic education (Master Mariner – Fully Licenced Captain) allowed me to perform a wide variety of activities in the Total group since joining PetroFina in 1981.
Hence, I had the opportunity to address technical functions (Offshore exploration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Maintenance) as well as support functions (Purchasing, IT, Organisation & Methods, Internal Control, Human Resources).
Several years of expatriation (Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam ) and a constant exposure to different cultures and environments (industrial sites , Head Quarters, Exploration and Production , Petrochemicals, Refining ) helped me to develop skills in organization, management of change, competences management and intercultural management.
