Started with Elf Aquitaine in 1981 as Operations Geologist, then as Subsurface Manager till 1984, Area Geologist in Paris for both Congo & Angola from 1984 to 1988. Appointed Exploration Manager in Syria from 1992 to 1996. Head of project based in Paris in 1997, then appointed in Nigeria as Geosciences Deputy General Manager from 1997 till 2001. Portfolio Exploration Manager for Total America assets from 2001 to 2003. Vice President Geosciences for Total E&P US in Houston from 2003 to 2007. Back to Paris in 2007 as New Ventures Manager for Americas till 2010 and for Africa till 2012. Geosciences Director for Total E&P Norway based in Stavanger from 2012 to 2015.

Activities

Just retired after 30 years of experience in Oil & Gas Exploration and Subsurface Development in various countries: Morocco, Angola, Nigeria, Syria, USA and Norway. Started as Operations Geologist and then evolved towards Geosciences managerial positions with teams up to 90 people. In charge of New Ventures, Portfolio Exploration and Subsurface Development in Africa, Middle East, North and South Americas and North Sea. Now teach Petroleum Geosciences in several universities worldwide.
