LEAN MANAGEMENT: DEVELOPING A PERFORMANCE CULTURE
Synthesis
This course is a reference course dealing with performance and continuous improvement. The aim is to introduce students to the philosophy of Lean Management, its methods and its main tools for combining business performance with the creation of customer value, and to train them in Lean through the DMAIC method. The content is equivalent to a Yellow Belt level of LEAN, to enable students to grasp the knowledge, tools and mindset needed to develop continuous improvement projects or solve day-to-day performance problems. The duration of this course can be adapted to suit the needs expressed and can be combined with practical exercises carried out in workshops. It uses interactive teaching methods (quizzes, videos, case studies with application of the tools). Competence in Lean Management provides soft skills knowledge and tools to perform in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous VUCA world.
