  • Understand the basic concepts of risk assessment and risk management

Chapter N° 4: Risks at Workplace and Prevention

  • Understand the different risks and their associated preventions
  • Describe/understand the fire triangle, the fire classifications and the suitable extinguishing media

Day 3 :

Chapter N° 5: Organization of Operations

  • Understand the main arrangements required in the organisation of operations
  • Describe Safe PtW and methods of safe isolation & lock-out/tag-out of processes & equipment
  • Outline the objectives of the meetings required for conducting critical activities

Chapter N° 6: HSE Management System

  • Understand the structure of a HSE Management System and its requirements & implementation

Chapter N° 7: Safety Culture

  • Define safety culture and its types and attributes
  • Describe how Safety Culture could contribute to the sustainability of an organisation/business
