Toolbox Energy 2022

The TPA Toolbox Energy will be updated once a year.

The update of the « Toolbox Energy January 2022 » takes into account the following elements :

– General remarks :

Data and figures from the IEA Key Energy Statistics and from their World Energy Outlook (October 2021) have been taken into account. References on various Energy Technologies are also made to recent 2021 data from other organizations (IMF, US EIA International Outlook and Annual Energy Outlook, OPEC ASB & WOO, OECD/NEA, WNA, Mycle Schneider, TotalEnergies, BP Statistical Review 2021….)

In order to evaluate the various changes in the perspectives, previous estimates from some organizations are reminded.

The Covid-19 pandemia consequences can be seen on the world economic and energy data for the year 2020. Other impacts can be envisaged with later consequences. Scenarios for 2020-2050 from IEA, TotalEnergies and other organizations are presented.

The various elements constituting the core documentation of the course « Climate Change and Energy Transition » are incorporated in their dedicated Books.

Specific elements are presented in the present update as followed :
