Impression générale

Very good assistance of TEP Brasil before and during the Integrated Week (IW) thanks to Fabio Martins. Good participation of the Participants; many technical questions for clarification. A daily attendance list of participants was recorded by Unicamp. Total participants: Registered : 43 / Attended: 29 (approx. 100% of presence) All Students in Petroleum Engineering studies Undergraduated Students: 7; Master: 19; PhD: 3 and Prof Paulo Roberto Ribeiro ( Head of Department of Petroleum Engineering has assisted to all courses); Seven (7) girls + twenty two (22) boys; No problem of discipline during the courses. Good conditions for the courses : – A class room large enough with PC, audio+video, white board – Courses between 08:30 and 12:30 hrs Eight (8) videos/films were presented. For 3 days, 3 Students were called to present in 15 minutes the technical key points of the subjects seen the previous day. Assessment of J.Bera courses: see tableau hereattached Test/Exam: Students must have 80% of presence AND a mark > or = to 70% to get a « Certificate of Success » ; If 80% of presence AND a mark < than 70% they get a "Certificate of Attendance"; if less than 80% of presence: NO certificate. Those conditions were validated by Prof. Paulo Roberto Ribeiro (Head of Department of Petroleum Engineering). All those conditions were presented to the Participants the fist day. The Test … – 29 Participants; – was performed in 50 mins (40 mins closed books + 10 mins open books) – Result/marks (see details in the attached file) Average of marks = 76/100 Four (4) marks above 90/100; Eight (8) marks < 70/100 One Student with NO Certificate: presence < 80% Other: during my stay I visited : The PC-Simulator for Well Control ( design for deepwater operations), Visit of different labs.: for EOR studies, for testing ESP pumps, for simulation of fluid movements in reservoir, for PVT measurements, for pumping heavy oils, for multiphase fluid flow profile in vertical and horizontal pipes. Many lab-studies in collaboration with Petrobras, Shell, Equinor. I want to thank TOTAL E&P Brasil to welcome TPA , Mr Fabio Martins and Isabela Costa for their help for preparing this intervention and their assistance during my stay in Campinas.

Quid du futur ?

Prof. Paulo Roberto Ribeiro (Head of Department of Petroleum Engineering) would like for the future to integrate the marks of Students in the University Marks; To do so he would like the two courses (Drilling and Well Completion) a total duration of 40 to 45 hrs. This point to be discussed between TEP-Brasil and TPA.
