– Booklets with all slides printed in color
– many films related to development projects were shown: Martin Linge, South Pars 2&3, Dalia,, Yamal LNG, CLOV story, CLOV first oil, MOHO North TLP load out (Hull & topsides)
Impression générale
Good: Graduate students (with Master degree) & Undergraduate students in Petroleum Eng. are motivated & interested.
But they were a bit shy to ask questions orally, therefore the « one minute to answer » papers delivered everyday were quite helpful and very much appreciated by students.
Quid du futur ?
UFRJ seems willing to have more TPA courses; to be noted that they do not understand why they have only 2 TPA courses this year, while UNICAMP in Sao Paolo has 9.
Questions posées par les étudiants
– has Total already thought about using an FLNG ?
– has Total experienced any permitting problems that would end up compromizing the project ?
– what type of softwares Total uses to monitor a project ?
– what percentage of a project budget deviation is acceptable ?
– can you cancel a call for tenders without justification ?
– is an EPC contract a confidential or a public document ?
– how can we take decisions based on risk analysis, since we learned about the parameters, but not how there are accounted for ?
– are they bibliographic references with some values of OPEX, CAPEX, risks, Environmental costs ? what softwares are used to do these studies ?
– etc..
