13 students registered but only 9 to 11 attended (9 full time) As always the students were very interested having no knowledge in Seismics and Seismic Interpretation/Mapping.
We handed over the certificates to 9 students having attended the full session. All students had an average over 10 (French standards) The highest performers were two UERJ undergraduates (girls) and one UFRJ graduated who is or has been working for Petrobras overseas (Nigeria,…) We could recommend those 3 only.
However the level has not been as good as in previous years at UERJ
With respect to logistics, everything was fine with TEP BR (hotel, transports) Due to reorganization the meal allowance (120R$/day) was received on Tuesday afternoon.
Quid du futur ?
The course is included in the curriculum but the penalty in case of no attendance is to take it another time which is not possible. It was agreed with Prof. Pereira that this does not work and that if we continue this will be based on a commitment to have 15 students minimum, whether graduates or undergraduates and he needs to find the way to do it.

Again, many technical questions all along the course and a real interest shown by the students.
