Interprétation structurale des données sismiques

Good organization at Makerere University and the computer room (once disposing of the computers) was adapted to our small group for lectures and practical exercises. One lecturer attended my course on the Monday morning and disappeared afterwards. He did not come back and we never saw the professor in charge. Godfrey told us that our courses are not integrated in their programme. The main interest for the University, apart from the course, is to get hold of the extra booklets. We confirmed that we left the enough due to the lower attendance than planned initially. This is also why the subsidiary does not send the marks and comments to the University and just keep our report and marks for them in their archive which is a bit unfortunate. Due to the erratic attendance we decided to give certificates only to students attending more than 75% of the course, i.e. 13 students including one absent at one test. The level was quite low for MSc students with an average for the class of only 10.1. Only 2 reached an average above 12 and another 7 above 10. We have noticed the good overall performance of 3 participants always present and interactive: Victor John LEMI, Cosmas LEMATIA and, surprisingly, the IT technician Tonny MUGABI helping us, all quite motivated. We believe we can recommend them. As for the logistics, the hotel was perfect and well located. The only problem is the absence of alternative for meals, especially due to the absence of drivers for evenings. The reason given for that was a policy of cost cuttings which resulted in a mutualisation of drivers for visitors, and a miserable allowance of 40000 UGX (ca 9 euros) for a meal to be taken at the hotel by TPA Professors, ca half the allowance given Total visitors, therefore half of what is needed and quite strange ?
