Exploration et Production du pétrole et du gaz : processus et techniques

Everything went perfectly all right. Nice trip , nice hotel close to EMI, nice organization. Good class room, well equipped, no problem for projection of slides and movies. I had more or less around 65 students every day (including about 15 professionals – Ministry of oil and national company and professors of EMI) Excellent participation by a very interested assistance, no cell phones in activity, good questions : really positive. Very warm welcome of EMI, I was invited for lunch by colonel O. Daen, ViceRector de Posgrado. He was there every day at the start of every course. The translator from English, Christian Santa-Cruz Ormachea, was at the same time friendly and excellent , knowing what he was translating, he is a young engineer graduated from EMI. He also speaks a fairly good French. Only weak point : the course stopped on Thursday night- , because of a big celebration for the birthday of EMI with the participation of all students and professors . Not bad for the course, which was well on schedule , I just went faster on the last chapters . But I had no time for the exam : we did it together with the class after today’s course with oral answers in a friendly atmosphere . Which means that I could not attribute notes to the students . I received the thank you gift from the colonel, (small ceremony). The certificates of participation to the course will be distributed later. I feel that all the students deserve it.
