Personnes rencontrées
At ZU on initial day 26/01 : Khadija Abdulrahman Assistant Professor College of Business
On 26/01 in Total Abu Dhabi office: Christophe Sassolas Country Chair Marine Georget, Abeer Al Mehairbi Relations with Universities, Mouza Al Dhazairi Head of CSR
Moyens pédagogiques
Slides, books by EH Schein P d’Iribarne and Sauquet/ Vielajus (soft copies only placed on my Dropbox, Total was not equipped to produce paper copies that had to be printed at ZU for a limited number of forms : quizz, evaluation sheet, case studies that couldn’t be used eventually – see infra)
Impression générale
Very welcoming and participative, therotically mixed audience actually overwhelmingly female. Irregular presence and punctuallity depending on other commitments. Presence of ZU professor on the first day and Total AD employee Abeer on the third day. On the fourth day at 6.18 pm just after I signed the certificates for the awarding ceremony scheduled for the next day, I was surprised to receive a mail from ZU professor calling off the final day due to unavailability of students. Therefore course couldn’t be completed : neither final quizz nor course evaluation sheet scheduled for the final day …
Quid du futur ?
Affiliate is quite eager to develop courses in ZU, Al Aïn, Sorbonne universities but except for the latter – under french management – the difficulty in obtaining a firm commitment on program and attendance from the receiving university should not be under estimated !
Questions posées par les étudiants
On the possible contacts with Total AD for internship, etc. Such contact should have taken place during the award ceremony scheduled on the final day and called off at the last minute as explained above…
