Impression générale
Agostinho Neto University is fairly well organized and the room used is particularly pleasant for practical work. The room is equiped with projector, screen, whiteboard, air conditioning.
The courses were given at the Faculty of Science, near TOTAL’s offices, with very short travel times from the guest.
Very welcome by the subsidiary, which facilitates the task.
The level of the group was quite low, in geology, for a majority of 3rd year students in Geology. Some participants have an episodic approach to the course and a very random attendance. One way to combat this absenteeism was to offer several quizzes at specific time. Certificates were only distributed to 13 students.
Quid du futur ?
Probably this IW will be reconduct next year, with a proposal of the head of the Departmment of Geology : reserve one or two weeks in the study program to encourage student participation and facilitate joint work with local teachers.
Questions posées par les étudiants
Many questions about the concepts and examples offered. Clarifications or repetitions often requested, even upon basic concepts.
