Très bonne: bon accueil de l’université, logistique OK, hotel « Pathumwan Princess » à 5′ à pied de PPC.
Le programme de mon IW avait été modifié à l’avance à la demande de Nitida (ex-director of Academic Affairs), par l’addition de « oil & gas production », « power plants », et « Greenhouse gas ».
8 étudiants + 7 professionnels invités par Total Thailand (3 DMF + 2 PTT + 2 PTTEP).
Etudiants d’une timidité maladive => très difficile d’avoir quelques questions; cela allait mieux avec les professionnels.
Mais 5h de cours par jour (et en anglais), c’est un peu beaucoup.
Quid du futur ?
PPC va finaliser ses demandes d’IW pour l’an prochain.
Questions posées par les étudiants
Quand même assez nombreuses sur 5 jours, par ex:
– how to select between a wet and a dry scheme for gas transportation ?
– Russian export: cheaper by pipeline ?
– How to select between dry and wet chrismas tree,
– water treatment in a CBM project ?
– How to inject LPG or N2 in LNG to modify the gas quality ?
– For an LNG carrier, how to choose between a membrane type and a Moss sphere type tanker ?
– How LNG tankers can use boil off gas ?
– Why several cooling cycles in an LNG process ?
– Can we compare the cost of the various liquefaction processes ?
etc…
– Are the FSRU self propelled generally ?
